The Córdoba Police arrested 12 people after finding them in the middle illegal hunting in packs. The incident occurred this Monday in the southeast of the province and joins a string of similar operations. In addition to arresting those involved, the agents rescued 25 dogs.
In the morning, members of the Rural Patrol carried out a series of procedures in different towns in Córdoba, such as Bell Ville, Ballesteros, Alto Alegre and Pueblo Italiano. There, the troops found a total of 12 people, who were hunting illegally with the help of their animals.
The uniformed officers apprehended those involved and transferred them to judicial headquarters, where they now remain at the disposal of Justice. As a result of the operations, the agents rescued 25 greyhound dogs, which were used for hunting.
Illegal hunting in packs: it is the third procedure in less than a month
The operation carried out this Monday is no longer new, since it is the third with the same characteristics in less than a month. And on June 10, at least 22 people were detained by the Córdoba Police in fields in the rural area in the south of the province, after being caught illegally hunting with packs.
Meanwhile, a week earlier the uniformed officers carried out a similar procedure, in which in addition to arresting those involved, they rescued 45 greyhound dogs. During that operation, the agents seized three trucks and five cars, among other items used for the prohibited practice.
The Rural Patrol troops carried out the operations in the towns of Leones, Coronel Moldes, La Laguna (Ausonia), Pasco, Manfredi, Pueblo Italiano and Pascana. Being the same area in which the 12 people were arrested this Monday.
