dThe eight and six year old children were rescued from a place where they were with their mother consuming alcoholic beverages and causing public disorder while their childrenThey suffered from cold and hunger.
The incident was discovered in the early hours of this Tuesday, in a location in the Tomás de Lezo avenue, in the Santa Rosa neighborhood, in the capital of Santa Cruz. It was the neighbors who noticed the presence of the children suffering and enduring the cold while the mother was drunk dancing, leaving the little ones completely neglected.
The neighbors, upon seeing such a situation, entered the premises and rescued the two children: an eight-year-old boy and his six-year-old sister, and took them to the Alto San Pedro police module.
The police immediately gave protection to the children and together with the mother in an inconvenient condition was transferred to the Ombudsman’s Office of Childhood and Adolescence.
Personnel from the Ombudsman’s Office placed the minors in a foster home and They provided clothing and food. The mother is investigated for her behavior of taking her children to a local sale of alcoholic beverages and dancing, without even giving them clothing and food.
