Monument to bullfighter César Rincón is removed in Duitama, Boyacá: bullrings will be changed

“With 126 votes in favorthe plenary session of the House of Representatives approves the conciliation report on the bill that prohibits bullfighting, bullfighting, bullfighting, bullfighting, and tientas in Colombia. In addition, announced a call called ‘Transformations for life’ to convert 15 bullrings into peasant markets during 2024, this to put an end to bullfighting activities throughout the country.

“We launched the call “Transformations for life.” This year we will convert 15 bullrings into peasant markets and next year 20. Where there was death before there will be food for life,” indicated the director of Social Prosperity. For now, it is unknown on what dates this transformation would begin in the country’s bullrings or which departments or municipalities would be the next to notice this type of initiative by the Government.
