“We also have a drop in other markets, which are export markets. We have input problems, serious input problems at this time, raw materials, and some that are imported because the issues of payment abroad have not yet been resolved. There are also problems with that,” said Ramírez.
“The reality for the sector to be reactivated, in one like ours when there is planning, is 90, 120 days from the moment it is decided to reactivate because it is not immediate,” said the CEO of Montich.
“Therefore, this second semester will remain in this order as we just talked about,” he concluded.

Gustavo del Boca, president of the Chamber of Metallurgical Industries, that the situation “is very worrying for the future.”
