Córdoba will celebrate its first Urban Music Festival with the main performance of the international artist Sara Socas. The event, which will take place next July 4 at the Youth Squarehas been organized by the delegations of Culture, Historical Heritage, Youth and Citizen Participation with the aim of promoting the talent of young local artists.

The festival, which is framed within the Network Culture and Young Citizenship activities, will be presented by Star Granados and will feature performances by the dance group Boombapers, the rappers Sogre, MKV, Bboy Corpse and the Spanish runner-up of Beatbox: SB3.

Likewise, in the surroundings of the same square, the Cordoban artist Sota will paint a mural accompanied by the group of young people belonging to the Youth Commission of the Education Forum and Southeast Neighborhood (FEBS) and the Fuensanta Neighborhood Association.

Collaborator at Ser

The artist Sara Socas, originally from the Canary Islands, has stood out on the musical scene for being the first woman to compete in the National Freestyle League of Spain (FMS) in 2021, considered the most important national league in this field. Additionally, she is a collaborator on the radio program Window by Cadena Ser, along with the famous rapper Arkano. With this initiative, the Local Government is committed not only to attracting great artists and diversifying the offer of musical entertainment in the city, but also encourages the promotion of the city’s young artists, offering an alternative for cultural leisure through music and the painting.
