With the visit of the heads of official delegations to the Santa Ifigenia heritage cemetery, in this city, to pay tribute to the founding fathers of the Antillean nation, the 19th edition of the Expocaribe 2024 International Fair will begin today.
In the main room of the Heredia Cultural Complex, the official opening ceremony of the event will take place, considered the second most important commercial exchange in the country.
The participation of the political and governmental authorities of the territory, guests from the Community of Caribbean States, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, in addition to the exhibitors and guests at the event is expected.
During the day, a commemorative postage stamp of the fair will be canceled, whose objective is to promote agreements and exchange of knowledge on topics of economic interest for the countries of the region.
In addition, the portfolio of business opportunities with foreign investment and the exportable offer of Cuban goods and services will be presented, and bilateral meetings will begin with countries such as Guyana, the Dominican Republic, and others that attend Expocaribe.
Rescued in 2019, this event becomes a space for the search for alternatives that respond to the priorities established in the national territory, as well as for the exhibition of products and technologies that require financial support in order to reach their maximum development.
