Were seven people those who were murdered during an armed attack that occurred on a farm located in the Alto del Perro sector, Cabeceras village, Rionegro (Antioquia). The authorities arrived at the scene to attend to the emergency that unknown persons had caused.

One of the survivors told his testimony to MyOriente and assured that in the midst of anguish he tried to call 123 while the men shot his relatives and co-workers, but he could not speak to the authorities at that time because he feared being overheard.

After finding out that the murderers left on two motorcycles and a car, he called his parents and told them that “they killed them all”. The parents immediately took a taxi and headed to the crime scene to find out what had happened.

The survivor also told the media that there were four dogs at the scene: White (everyone’s mom), Miguelito, The Black and Lulu; the last two are apparently hidden.

The neighbors, bewildered, could not imagine what happened near their homes: “We don’t understand what happened, they were good, hard-working boys.”.

The Government of Antioquia and the National Police offer a reward of up to 50 million pesos for information that allows for the capture of those responsible for this fact. At the moment, investigations are progressing to clarify the causes of the crime that is mourning the Rio Negro community.
