In an important operation carried out in Armero Guayabal, the authorities dismantled the criminal network known as ‘Los de la Victoria’, which had operated since April 2022 under the leadership of a subject nicknamed ‘La Rata’. Along with him, several accomplices, identified as ‘El Patas’, ‘Mono Viejo’, ‘Chistorete’, ‘La Libia’, ‘La Vanesa’, ‘El Burro’, ‘Estiven’, ‘El Rolo’ and ‘La Perra’, were involved in the commercialization of hallucinogens.
The group used a Casa Quinta in Armero Guayabal to carry out their illicit activities, in addition to using motorcycles without license plates to transport the substances. Their operations affected parks, bars, nightclubs and neighborhoods such as Ayudémonos, Los Suizos, El Porvenir, La Paz, Centro, La Joya, and San Pedro, among others.

The operation, which resulted in the dismantling of this network, was the result of the work of undercover police, more than 1,000 hours of telephone interceptions and other investigations coordinated by the Prosecutor’s Office No. 8 specialized in anti-narcotics of Ibagué.
During the operation, 11 search and search procedures were carried out, achieving the capture of 10 people with current arrest warrants issued by the Municipal Criminal Court No. 8 for Control of Guarantees of Ibagué. The detainees face charges of conspiracy to commit aggravated crimes, trafficking, manufacture or possession of narcotics, and illicit use of furniture and real estate.
Among the items seized are a gramera, several kilos of marijuana, four cell phones, cash, dosage bags, a motorcycle and a traumatic weapon.
