Robinson Cardona Velandia lost his life after suffering a traffic accident while riding his motorcycle in the Real de Minas sector. He was taken to the Bucaramanga clinic where days later he died.
On the afternoon of Wednesday, June 26, family members and friends will say goodbye at the Central Cemetery of Bucaramanga to Robinson Cardona Velandia, a young 23-year-old motorcyclist who died in a traffic accident in the Real de Minas sector.
The report delivered by the Bucaramanga Traffic Directorate was that last Monday, June 17, at 2:00 in the morning, Robinson was traveling on his motorcycle and for reasons to be established, he lost control of his vehicle when passing a speed bump. of speed and crashed into a separator.
“In front of the Chicó Real residential complex. The boy lost stability and collided with a fixed object. At that time it was raining. An ambulance took him to the Bucaramanga Clinic in serious health,” said Bucaramanga Transit agent Yesid Villamizar.
Due to the severity of the injuries, a severe head trauma, the young motorcyclist died in the early hours of this Monday, June 24, eight days later. His body was transferred by the Bucaramanga Traffic Criminalistics Unit to the Legal Medicine morgue in the Campo Hermoso neighborhood.

Although Robinson was born in the capital of Santander, he also lived in the municipality of Tame, Arauca, his ID was issued in that town. From that place in Colombia, acquaintances have expressed their condolences for the death of the motorcyclist.
“We called him ‘Ronchito’. I knew him since I was a child and that is why I can say that he was an excellent boy, but God took him away and I only have memories of shared moments. He worked in a self-service store in Tame and currently we learned that he worked for a poultry company in Bucaramanga,” said one of his acquaintances in Arauca.

Relatives and acquaintances have arrived from the city of Bogotá and from Tame, Arauca, for his funeral, which will take place at 2:00 pm, at the Central Cemetery of Bucaramanga.
