The delegate of Economic Development, Promotion and Employment of the Provincial Council of Córdoba, Felix Romeropresented this Wednesday the I Inclusive Catwalk ‘Cordova Fashion Day‘, an activity that will take place next Saturday, June 29 at the Exhibition, Fair and Convention Center. It is organized by the Movimiento Desde Siempre para Siempre and Inclusion Tour association and has the support of the provincial institution.

Romero has highlighted that “Córdoba is fashionable and even more so with this type of initiatives that, in addition, result in economic development in the province, since the entrepreneurship of businessmen related to the world of fashion, designers, artisans, hairdressers and stylists, among others, is being promoted.”

But also, the president of the Provincial Institute of Economic Development (Iprodeco) has emphasized, “fashion has to be accessible, sensitive and inclusive and this project has as its clear purpose the fight for the visibility of people with functional diversity and the most vulnerable groups in the province.”

Romero has insisted on the support of Iprodeco “in everything that is useful for the province, that brings wealth and that ensures that our self-employed people do much better, and even more so if this also results in social work.”

For his part, the Councilor for Tourism of the Córdoba City Council, Daniel Ibarrolahas insisted that “this province is a reference in the issue of fashion, but also in inclusion and an example of this are the numerous groups that are involved in this event, who carry out invaluable and fundamental work for those who need it most.”

The CEO of Inclusion Tour, Enrique Villena, He explained that “this initiative began five years ago in Ibiza, it is the first one hundred percent inclusive international catwalk where we add people with functional diversity, vulnerable groups with professional models.”

Villena has stressed that “we come with the intention of staying, for this event to take place every year in Córdoba, because the happiness of those who participate is priceless.”

Participants

The designers Those who will participate in this catwalk will be My Little Jumpers, Trinidades, Eva Vega, Anudada, Kaleidoscopio, Moussa Costura, Saró and Linnea Ibiza. They will dress models belonging to the Cordoba Association of Intellectual Disabilities (ACDI), ADHD Córdoba, Down Córdoba, Alzheimer Córdoba, Autismo Córdoba, Asociación Alccor for the promotion of talent in Córdoba, Fundación Promi, Asociación Movimiento Desde Always Forever, to the Acolu Association, to the Don Bosco Foundation and to the Cemac Cultural Association.
