The governor of Valle del Cauca, Dilian Francisca Toro, announced the purchase of inhibitor equipment to prevent and respond to possible drone attacks against the Public Force in this department. “The Army and the Police are going to tell us which is the most suitable technological device to buy and we are going to acquire it on an emergency basis, because we cannot wait for them to buy it from the Ministry of Defense, We cannot wait for who knows how long, while they are throwing grenades at us from a drone and that affects our civilian population,” said the governor of Valle.

The mayor of Cali, Alejandro Eder, joined this initiative, who assured that he is working to intervene in these technological equipment.However, he reiterated that investment from the central government is necessary to strengthen the Public Force.
