Get ready. Bogotá continues with water rationing measures. For this reason, the District Institute of Recreation and Sports (IDRD) informs the parks and sports venues in the city that will be closed to the public due to restrictions on water service in the city.

The measure seeks to support water savings. Shift six of the ninth cycle scheduled for this Thursday, June 27, 2024, will affect the water supply for the sports venues and parks in the town of Suba in Bogota.

Public toilets will not be able to function given the suspension of the water supply. In addition, many of the activities carried out in these spaces require water resources, such as ornamental fountains or water games for children, so they will not be able to operate during the outages.

Temporarily suspension of the water and light show at the Children’s Park
The water and light show at the Children’s Park (Sector Simón Bolívar) is temporarily suspended for as long as water rationing measures are in force in Bogotá.
