The First Commission of Finance and Municipal Development of the State Congress, approved a reform to the Law of the Public Registry of Property and the Cadastre to unify for the three years of the municipal administrations, November 15 as the deadline to deliver the projects of the tables of unitary values ​​of land and construction.

Currently, the Law of the Public Property Registry and Cadastre for the State and Municipalities of San Luis Potosí establishes that during the first year of a new administration, the Town councils must deliver by October 31the projects of the tables of unit values ​​of land and construction, while the two subsequent years, they will do so on October 1.

The aim is for city councils to have more time on updating issues and the gap that exists in this matter can be reduced.

The initiative was presented by the deputies of the PVEM parliamentary group, Cecilia Senllace Ochoa Limón, Esther González Díaz, Roberto Ulices Mendoza Padrón, Edgar Alejandro Anaya Escobedo, Martha Patricia Aradillas Aradillas, José Luis Fernández Martínez, Miguel Ángel Segura Méndez, Miguel Ángel López Salas, Marcela del Carmen de León Bernal; from the PT parliamentary group, deputy Salvador Isais Rodríguez; of Nueva Alianza, deputy María Claudia Tristán Alvarado, and deputy Yolanda Josefina Cepeda Echavarría.

This initiative in its Article 78 states that in matters of cadastre it is up to the city councils to propose to the State Congress no later than November 15 of each year.the projects of the tables of unit values ​​of land and construction.

If they are not presented in the terms referred to in the previous and subsequent paragraph, Congress will authorize as such, the unit values ​​of land and construction that have been in effect during the immediately preceding year.”.

The work session of the First Commission of Finance and Municipal Development was chaired by its president, deputy Cuauhtli Fernando Badillo Moreno, the deputy vice president María Claudia Tristán Alvarado, and the member deputy Edgar Alejandro Anaya Escobedo, who recognized that as part of the discussion , analysis and approval of the opinion, it was necessary to take into account the opinion of the State Registry and Cadastral Institute.

The opinion was referred to the Second Commission on Finance and Municipal Development of the State Congress, for analysis and discussion.
