With barely six months of administration, the Mayor of El Banco, Magdalena, Ronald Flórez, has begun a series of works aimed at strengthening the municipality’s infrastructure. In compliance with the municipal Development Plan, work has begun to beautify the Plaza de la Cumbia, an emblematic place in local culture.

The main objective of this project is to improve public spaces by adapting the urban environment in the “Cumbiamberos” monument, underlining the administration’s commitment to the cultural and tourist development of the municipality.

Mayor Ronald Flórez highlighted the importance of this initiative to promote the cultural identity of El Banco: “Today we begin the beautification of the Plaza de la Cumbia, an emblematic site for all Banqueños that will contribute to highlighting our culture and promoting tourism in the area. municipality. “We are carrying out all the necessary works to transform El Banco.”

These actions are part of the municipal Development Plan designed to benefit the inhabitants of El Banco, reflecting the commitment of the Different Government led by Flórez to improve urban infrastructure and promote regional cultural growth.
