23 cars and 574 motorcycles were auctioned off as spare parts, with a base price of $400,000 and $250,000. The event had 200 participants.
Yesterday, the auction of 597 vehicles, 23 cars and 574 motorcycles, took place at the Municipal Theater. They were auctioned off as spare parts, since they were not suitable for circulation and had no possibility of re-registration.
More than 200 interested parties participated in the auction. There were offers from $250,000 for three motorcycles and $400,000 for cars, depending on the condition of the unit.
Likewise, those who purchased vehicles at the auction have five business days from the delivery of the Auction Certificate to remove them from the auction. Proof of payment must be issued in the name of the Municipality of Salta.
Matías AssennatoSecretary of Transit, at the auction pointed out that with this auction the Municipality will have more space for the operations carried out by the Secretariat.
“The municipal lot is being freed up through this auction. It is also important to highlight that this action is generating income for the municipality,” he explained.
In addition, he highlighted that the income generated by the auction will be reinvested in road safety, as was done with the previous ones.
