An unfortunate event occurred on the Garzón-Agrado road, in the department of Huila, when a group of thieves for robbing two women who were traveling on a motorcycle, along with a 5-year-old minor, pushed them and they all fell against the pavement. .
According to official authorities, the child did not survive the injuries to his head and died when he was in the care center to which he was transferred.
The event occurred on the night of Sunday, June 23, 2024 and the minor was traveling with his mother and grandmother.
People in the community were outraged, because the thieves, after causing the accident, fled with the victims’ belongings. In fact, Garzón’s Government Secretary, Elkin Lloreda, rejected what happened.
After the tragedy that occurred during the attempted robbery, authorities were able to identify the three victims who were traveling in the vehicle.
The minor was identified as Josué Monje Bonelo, who was barely 5 years old.
One of the women is called Ernestina Bravo, 48 years old, and the other affected person was identified as Liliana Bravo Vargas.
