Asonal Judicial reported that a group of people were trapped in one of the elevators of the Palace of Justice. It was the employee elevator and it’s not the first time.
According to Asonal, there were six incidents this month with elevators and in 2024, this organization indicated, around 16 reports.
The judge and lawyer Luz Betty de Borrero also confirmed the ruling presented this June 27, at around 8:00 am
“Some people were locked in one of the public elevators for a long time. It is also true that something similar has happened on several occasions. Given this, the municipality of Cali, through its competent entity, made a visit to examine the state of each elevator and what happens to keep people locked in,” said the lawyer.
“We Colombians have paid many thousands of millions for the support and maintenance of that white elephant pompously called the “palace of justice.”
