Attention, VAT refund beneficiaries! The extraordinary payment of cycles 4, 5 and 6 not collected begins in 2023

• The resources will be available until July 19 and will be the last opportunity to claim payment.

The Social Welfare Secretariat of the Mayor’s Office of Cali informs that between June 28 and July 19, the extraordinary payment of the VAT refund for cycles 4, 5 and 6 not collected in 2023 will be carried out.

Beneficiary households will receive the transfer through the payment operator SuperGIROS and its allied network.

“It is important that beneficiaries pay attention to the confirmation text message that arrives on their cell phone to claim the transfers on the established dates,” said Lilia Astrith Bello Cruz, leader of the programs of the Department of Social Prosperity in the Mayor’s Office of Cali.

Citizens will be able to verify if they are beneficiaries starting June 26 by entering the program website: https://devolucioniva.prosperidadsocial.gov.co.

The National Government’s monetary transfer program, VAT Refund, seeks to mitigate the impact of VAT sales tax collection on the country’s poorest households.

Beneficiary Calieños will receive payments from $90,000, if they only have one (1) pending payment cycle, up to $270,000 if they have accumulated three (3) cycles.

It is vital to inform the entire community that Social Prosperity does not have intermediaries and no type of payment or registration is required to belong to the program; targeting is carried out by Social Prosperity using information from Sisbén IV and/or Social Household Registry. Therefore, it is essential that households keep their information updated in the municipality where they reside.
