The bond they can reach create a human and his dog It is a source of inspiration when talking about fellowship and above all loyalty. This is the story of a little dog that gained popularity on the southern beaches of Lima, Perufor continuing to wait for its owner.

Every day, the coast of Punta Negra is the place where it reaches Vaguito. After seeking comfort in the sand, he proceeds to always do the same thing: stare at the sea. In principle, those who observed the movement of the dog expected its owner to come from behind to share the walk. But that never happens.

Although the petting by bathers began to multiply with each of his visits to the beach, the dog is always alone and pays attention to the sea. That is why his actions began to be a source of conversation among local residents and tourists, and soon the story spread around the world. The thing is Vaguito waits every day for his ownerwho will never return.

It is not for nothing that the animal fixes its gaze on that ocean; That was the place where he saw his beloved owner for the last time, who went out to fish and never returned. Unfortunately, the man died at sea and, from that day on, Vaguito returns with the hope that that beach will bring back his loved one.

The story shocked and quickly went viral due to the faithful display of love and loyalty of that dog, who between the breeze and sand, only looks towards the water without losing faith. Photos of the animal on the seashore spread around the world, and although many people offered to adopt it, it is known that taking it away from the place would not be the best for it.

As happened in the case of Hachiko, the Japanese dog who waited for his owner at the train station -who accompanied him when he went to work- for more than nine years, the story of Vaguito will also be transferred to the big screen.

In mid-2023, Bamboo Pictures announced that filming of the film that would tell the exciting story, with the premise of reflecting the bond that was generated between the dog and its owner, making it clear why the popular phrase that indicates that these pets are “man’s best friend” makes perfect sense.

It should be noted that the protagonist of the story will not be the dog itself, but rather its role will be played by another animal. It will hit theaters in the Latin American country next April 18. “Vaguito, I’ll wait for you on the shore”; However, so far it has not been reported if there will be an international release or if the film will be on any platform. streaming so that the rest of the world can see it and get excited about it.
