Since the movie was announced Deadpool and Wolverinethe hype has not stopped increasing and with the recent release of its second trailer, we have obtained more of the same: from leaks on the set that have allowed us to see some of the possible characters that will make an appearance in the feature film, the new and incredibly powerful villain they will face, as well as some theories that seem to explain how Wolverine is alive, the antagonist’s relationship with Professor Charles Xavier and even a relationship between this film and Spider-Man.

However, perhaps the icing on the cake has been that Rob Liefeld, the co-creator of Marvel Comics’ Deadpool has made a strong statement by pointing out that Deadpool and Wolverine It has some of the most exciting action sequences in superhero moviespointing out that it was something we had not seen since Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

The same day we saw the new trailer for Deadpool and WolverineLiefeld used X’s platform to make a rather harsh statement, saying that has been raving about how amazing this movie lookshaving the best action since The Winter Soldier. This is a pretty big statement considering the dozens of films that have been released since then. Liefeld concludes by saying that We are possibly facing the best comic book movie of all time.

This is not an isolated statement.

Liefeld announced his retirement from Deadpool in February, but once again, he restated these comments and provided a little more detail during an episode of his recent podcast Robersavation With Rob Leifeldwhere he comments that The blood-splattered trailer is just a quick look at the “killer action scenes” that await for us.

The Deadpool co-creator went on to say that This movie has the best action we’ve ever seen in a comic book movie.. Later, he points out that if we think we have seen all the action in the film, there are still many things that are yet to come that will leave us speechless.

All the Deadpool movies have great action, but the anticipation for this one is obviously higher. There are many killer action sequences in this movie. And you are getting a taste, a hint of what is to come. I truly think this movie has the best action of any comic book superhero movie.

Right after, Liefeld praised the film again. Captain America: The Winter Soldier 2014 because, according to him, it has the best action in the history of comics. But he reiterates that Deadpool and Wolverine they’re on par with any other high-profile comic book superhero movie. And perhaps something that has given more truth to his statements is that, unlike many other films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Deadpool and Wolverine is classified as +18which could be justified by its extreme and explicit violence.

The trailer is the key to understanding Liefeld’s claims

The trailer for Deadpool and Wolverine shows some of the scenes pointed out by Liefeld, although with quite fast images that do not allow us to fully discern them. Although, one of them is the fight between Deadpool and Wolverinethat seems to be reminiscent of Spiderman’s fight with Flash –the alleged relationship that we told you about a couple of paragraphs ago–.

In any case, everything that has been revealed so far about Deadpool and Wolverine has served to increase the emotion, therefore, many fans hope it will be a shocking movie when it hits theaters this July 26. In addition, it seems that we will find unexpected cameos and dozens of details that have not yet been discovered.
