From Middle-earth comes the most evil being that has ever existed, however, we are not referring to Sauron, but, then, who could be more evil than the dark lord himself?
In the cinematographic world there are extremely exquisite pieces in their plots, stories, effects, characters and many more aspects that make them works that last for entire generations.
Among those films that we describe we find a saga that has become part of popular culture to this day, of course, we are referring to the famous ‘The Lord of the Rings’ films by Peter Jackson.

We all know Sauron as the most evil character in all the movies, believing that there is no one with a more devastating power than him. However, we could not be more wrong, since Sauron was only the disciple of a more malevolent being. And if you don’t know who we are talking about, in this note we will reveal it to you.
The first Dark Lord
Many people, even fans, have had the belief since the release of the first film that Sauron is and will always be the most evil being in Middle-earth. However, what would you say if we told you that Sauron is just the student of an even more evil and powerful being?
This being has been mentioned on several occasions in The Lord of the Rings trilogies, we could even see it in one of Peter Jackson’s most recent installments, ‘The Silmarillion’, where we see the explanation of many plots of the first films .
Of course, we are talking about ‘The first Dark Lord’, master of Sauron and the most evil being in all of Middle Earth, Melkorthe most powerful and intimidating of the Ainur, beings that were born from the thoughts of Ilúvatar, a being considered a god within this universe.
Known as Melkor, Bauglir, Belegurth, and even as Morgoth, this being is considered the most malevolent and powerful being in the entire Lord of the Rings saga and all its derivatives.
The story of this being begins with the Valar, the most powerful beings in Middle-earth, all born from the thoughts of Ilúvatar himself. These Valar are the most powerful Ainur, considered even royalty among this race.
Now, taking the above into account, Melkor was part of the Valar, being the one who rebelled against the other Valar, fighting against them for the power of the entire Earth.
Melkor is considered ‘the first Dark Lord’, ‘the enemy’, ‘Morgoth’, who is the most evil being in all of Middle-earth, who trained the most famous enemy of ‘The Lord of the Rings’, Sauron, who was successor of Melkor.
