The Harry Potter series on HBO wants to distance itself as much as possible from the film saga of the beginning of the century

Although there are still two years left for its supposed premiere, it is clear that the remake of Harry Potter will be one of the most important series for HBO in the future. However, it will not be easy to execute as many will continue to link the original actors with the characters and we will have to get used to new faces.

But how about a cameo? That some other actor from the film saga appears winking in some chapter will make more than one fan happy. He has spoken about this Daniel Radcliffe in an interview for E! News, where he was asked if she would like to appear as a cameo in the HBO series.

“I don’t think so. I think they very wisely want to have a clean break with the original saga. And I don’t know if it would work for us to do something about that.”

Unfortunately, Radcliffe has made the company’s intentions clear for the remake: completely new faces removed from the film saga. The series will be focused on a generation that did not grow up with this franchise, so the company will act as if the movies did not exist to focus on an adaptation much closer to the books.

Warner is clear about the future of the Magic World and his plan has been on the company’s table for several months. The first big objective will be to launch a live action series that lasts about 10 years; one season for each book. Depending on how successful they are, they will begin to produce spin-offs around this franchise.
