Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are back behind the cameras in the fourth installment of the ‘Two Rebel Police’ saga

In just a couple of weeks and without making, for the moment, too much noise compared to the great media premieres that have been released throughout this 2024 film year, the new installment of one of the already great sagas of contemporary action cinema will arrive in our movie theaters: ‘Bad Boys: Ride or Die’ —which, as happened with its predecessor, has left that ‘Two Rebel Police’ thing by the wayside—.

The duo of directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah repeat in the management position after his more than notable and surprising work in ‘Bad Boys for Life’ to give us, along with Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, Vanessa Hudgens and company a new show full of action, comedy and designer set pieces that, judging by the trailers, looks very appealing.

But before issuing verdicts based solely on sensations produced by mere previews, let’s take a look at the first reactions that come from the other side of the pond, where some privileged people have already been able to attend the first screenings and They agree that El Arbi and Fallah’s work behind the cameras is as energetic and fun as it is tremendously solid in terms of form.. Be careful, because if, as a server, you already had a minimum of hype, it may skyrocket to unsuspected limits.

Below, I leave you some of the tweets that critics from different media and the first viewers have shared about ‘Bad Boys: Ride or Die’, which opens in our cinemas on June 7. After the surprise of the third part, to say that there are gains is to say an understatement.

First opinions of ‘Bad Boys Ride or Die’

#BADBOYS RIDE OR DIE is amazing. It’s amazing how Adil & Bilal have managed to capture the emotional core of this saga without sacrificing any of its deranged fun. Smith & Lawrence are at their best, the supporting cast levels up a lot (REGGIE!) and things explode very well.

Bad Boys: Ride or Die is phenomenal. I love the Bad Boys franchise. This one raised all the standards. It’s constantly hilarious. Innovative action sequences. Lots of chemistry between Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. The best time I’ve had at the movies in a while. I absolutely loved it.

Just watched @badboys #badboys Ride or Die! The action is as good as you’d expect, and it might just be the funniest? At my screening the biggest applause went to Dennis Greene as Reggie for reasons I’ll better let you discover for yourself. No prior knowledge of Bad Boys is needed to have fun!

Oh girlyyy, this was SO FUN! The #BadBoys agenda is alive and well, long and strong
