“I’ve had this in mind for a long time, a story with the Peakys in World War II, and I’ve chosen three true stories that I’m integrating into the film. True, somewhat secret and unknown, stories about World War II, and I’ve included the Peakys in there. I’ve always been interested in it because a lot of things happened in World War II, there was a lot of death and destruction, a lot of things happened that didn’t really make it into the history books.
