Felicitas Alvitethe 20-year-old TikToker known as “La Toretto” who ran over and killed a motorcyclist in La Plata, broke his silence after surrendering to Justice this Thursday. “I didn’t think it was going to be taken out of context,” the young woman told the prosecutor about one of the publications she had shared on her TikTok account. “Fear? It’s scary to go with me in the car because I’m a constant ‘he wants to run’ and I act like Toretto,” she had written on social media. “She wanted to be an influencer,” explained one of the lawyers who was present.

Regarding the details of what happened in the early hours of April 12, Alvite stated that in the car she was accompanied by two friends with whom she had gone to a party. “I decided to drive because the owner of the Gol Trend had drunk alcohol,” she argued. According to her version, the person who was in the other vehicle that appears in the security camera video was a “friend” whom she was following since she “did not know well” the center of La Silver. “I didn’t want to get lost and I ran red lights. I was making lights and passing by following my friend,” she added.
When recalling the attack by the 36-year-old man, identified as Ruben Walter Armand, the young woman became ill and suffered a panic attack. The investigation had to be interrupted for a few minutes until she managed to compose herself. Then, she continued with her testimony and denied having been stung: “When I see the motorcycle, it was already on top of me. I was in shock”, he said. After the crash, the 20-year-old TikToker said that they called the ambulance because she “wanted them to take care of the boy” because she “was the least important thing.”

After the statement, Alvite was transferred back to a cell where she will remain imprisoned until her procedural situation is resolved.
