Group A standings and accounts to reach the final

The fourth date of quadrangular A did not have goals nor did it have many emotions. Deportivo Pereira remains the leader, although it lost a huge opportunity to qualify for the grand final of the BetPlay League 2024-I.

The two matches of the day ended 0-0: Pereira vs. Junior and Bucaramanga vs. Millionaires. With these results, the four teams in the group still have a chance to qualify for the star dispute.

The first option continues to be Pereira, who will host Millonarios on Saturday and who, in the event of a victory, could qualify with an advance date if there is a tie in Barranquilla, where Junior receives Bucaramanga.

On the last date, Pereira will close against Bucaramanga and there he would have to define his classification. Rafael Dudamel’s team can still reach 11 points and depends on itself. He will be a finalist if he wins both games.

Junior, although he has the same points as Bucaramanga, no longer depends on himself: even winning the two games, Saturday at home and on the last date against Millonarios in Bogotá, he needs Pereira not to score the six points.

The most complicated scenario is that of Millonarios, who will have to beat Pereira and Junior to get 10 points, but will have to wait until Bucaramanga does not triumph in one of the two remaining games.

Millos could reach the last date as a leader and depending on himself. To do this they need to beat Pereira by two or more goals and hope for a draw in Barranquilla.

The fifth date of quadrangular A, Saturday, already has schedules: The duel between Pereira and Millonarios will be played at 5 p.m., while Junior will host Bucaramanga at 7:30 p.m. The two games will be seen on Win Sports +.
