This Monday, the High Complexity Prosecutor of O’Higgins, Carlos Fuentes, provided new information on the proceedings being carried out by the Public Ministry. “They were summoned to testify as defendants, because they appear to have been granted licenses in the commune of Nancagua, apparently providing false records and that is what we want to clarify”he began by pointing out at a press point.
Regarding the identity of the accused, the judicial authority explained the reasons for not disclosing it yet. “That is in a reserve, because we want to prevent crowds of people from coming here to the barracks and I prefer to keep that information”he detailed, as a security measure, along with adding that “it depends on them (those involved) whether they will continue to be charged or not.”
In any case, during the day eight players from Colo Colo showed up to testify at the PDI headquarters in the O’Higgins Region. Among them, Óscar Opazo, Maximiliano Falcón and Alan Saldivia.
The prosecutor was also consulted about the possible sanctions that the accused could receive.
