Starting this May, the instant messaging application WhatsApp will stop working on several smartphones of various brands due to issues related to its update and the memory it occupies.
From the app, which is run by the company Meta, they specified that the renowned service is not available on those devices that have an Android 5.0 operating system or lower, and even iPhones with iOS 12 or lower.
It should be noted that, with new updates, applications require more storage space necessary for their operation.
Likewise, as these innovations advance, older mobile phones become incompatible with newer versions of WhatsApp. Other restrictions related to the region in which the app is used are also added.
