Additionally, a carousel view is added that highlights daily updated content, such as people, pets, favorite places, among others. Each photo library can be customized to organize the most relevant collections and highlight the most important content in the carousel view.
Messages: Communication improvements with iOS 18
iMessage incorporates new text effects that liven up conversations, giving dynamism to letters, words, phrases and emojis. Users will be able to better express the tone of their messages using formatting options such as bold, underline, italic, or strikethrough.

For those contacts who don’t use Apple devices, the Messages app now supports Rich Communication Services (RCS), allowing for more dynamic multimedia content and more reliable group messaging than with the Short Message Service (SMS) and Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS). iOS 18 also introduces Satellite Messages for situations where there is no cellular or Wi-Fi connection available.
