Digital Eclipse announced that an expanded edition of his compilation Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration is on the way. This new version, called Expanded Edition, will be available on October 25 in both physical and digital formats. Those who already own the previous edition will receive a free update that will add the 39 new extra titles that are incorporated into this re-release.

Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration is a compilation of emblematic titles from the history of Atari. This playable retrospective not only includes the games, but also explains the background of the developer and its hardware, introducing each exponent in chronological order. The original version of the compilation includes 103 games, starting from the arcade era and passing through consoles such as the Atari 2600, Atari 5200, Atari 7800, Atari Lynx and Atari Jaguar.

In December 2023, the compilation received an update that added 12 new games to its collection. With this new expanded edition and the addition of 39 additional titles, Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration reaches a total of 154 games, offering an even more complete experience for fans of Atari and those interested in retro video games.
