The suspect in the Minneapolis Nudieland mass Shooting named Dominic James Burris was charged on Tuesday. The 18-year-old faces criminal charges in juvenile court in the gunfire incident that left one person and several others injured last summer. Dominic, who is a resident of Hinckley, was 17 years old at the time he allegedly shot multiple people.

Apart from Burris, one more teenager was arrested by the cops earlier during the investigation into the mass shooting incident. The shooting happened at a Minneapolis punk show in August last year in which a 35-year-old man lost his life. The victim was identified as August Golden aka Nicolas Golden. The man who was an integral part of the local punk community was shot and did not survive after sustaining severe injuries in the mass shooting that drew national attention. The gunfire also left a traumatic impact on the minority group of people who described them as belonging to the punk community.

Who Is Dominic James Burris?

Burris, an 18-year-old man, appeared in juvenile court on Tuesday. However, the identity of the second teenage suspect was not revealed, apart from the fact that he is a male.

Witnesses reported that on the evening of August 11, between thirty and fifty individuals were attending a show at the south Minneapolis house venue known as Nudieland. The suspects then approached the alley and began shooting after ten o’clock at night.

Burris, also known as “Scoober,” pleaded not guilty inside the courtroom. He is facing one charge of aiding and abetting second-degree murder and six counts of felony assault. Not much is known about him or his personal details of him ie family, background, or education. Prosecutors want his case to be transferred to an adult court.
