Registration for the first call for the Jóvenes a la E program

The District Secretary of Education -SED- together with the District Agency for Higher Education, Science and Technology – -Atenea- invite you to participate in the first call for the Youth to E program, which will be open from this Friday the 26th. from April until next May 3.

The call grants scholarships for higher education and work, 100% financed by the District. In its first version, nearly 2,700 scholarships will be available with an offer of 413 programs among university students, professional technicians and technologists, in 44 Higher Education Institutions.

Most of the programs are oriented to the knowledge areas of: Engineering, architecture, urban planning and related areas (1,242 places); Economics, administration, accounting and related fields (479 places); fine arts (215 places); social and human sciences (162 places); mathematics and natural sciences (109) and health sciences (93).

The participation requirements are:

  • Be a high school graduate from a school located in Bogotá or have taken the validation test in this city.

  • Have taken the Saber 11th test or ICFES tests.

  • Be up to 28 years old at the closing of the call.

  • TyT graduate students can participate; and SENA graduates or students in the practical stage.

  • Graduates of a university professional level program or those who have been beneficiaries of a District higher education program cannot participate.

How to register?

Young people interested in accessing one of the nearly 2,700 scholarships must follow the following five steps to be registered:

  1. Read the terms and conditions that are at https://agenciaatenea.gov.co/convocatorias/primera-convocatoria-jovenes-a-la-e

  2. Create a username and password at https://sicore.agenciaatenea.gov.co/

  3. Fill out the resume (personal information, contact information, Saber – ICFES test results, employment status, certificate from the Ministry of the Interior if you belong to an ethnic community (black, afro-descendant, raizal, rom, palenquera, indigenous), among others. The process does not end until you validate your resume.

  4. Applicants may apply for three programs: a professional technician or technology program, a university program, and the third choice is free.

  5. Finally, to know that the process was successful, the registration confirmation will arrive by email.

Finally, director Saavedra announced that during this year the first two calls for Young People at E will be opened, which will award nearly 8,650 scholarships, half of them oriented toward professional careers (4,300), 27% to technical and technological careers. (2,350), and 23% to education for Work and Human Development (2,000). All these scholarships will include support of a minimum salary per semester.
