Anses reported that the retirements and pensions will receive a new increase in May of 11.01 percent, as an advance of the new mobility formula for June, which is calculated taking as a reference the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for March, published by the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (INDEC).
Furthermore, the holders of retirements and minimum pensions will receive a bonus of 70 thousand pesos, so no retiree or pensioner will receive less than 260,141.60 pesos (190,141.60 pesos of credit with increase + 70 thousand pesos bonuswith the usual payment schedule).
Meanwhile, those who have assets less than that figure will have a proportional bonus until they reach it.
How much do Puam and Non-Contributory Pensions cost?
The Universal Pension for the Elderly (PUAM) will amount to 222,113.28 pesos (152,113.28 pesos plus the bonus of 70 thousand pesos),
The Non-Contributory Pensions for Disability and Old Age will be 203,099.12 pesos (133,099.12 pesos plus the bonus of 70 thousand pesos).
It is recalled that the national Government established, through Decree 274/2024, the new mobility formula for retirements and pensions, by which, since July, they will be updated monthly according to the variations in the CPI from two months ago.
That is, in July the assets will be based on the May index; in August, June; and so on.
In no case may its application reduce the income received by retirees and pensioners: if in June the increase granted by the previous Mobility Law (Law 27,609) was greater than what has been accumulated since April due to the application of the new mobility formula, Anses will pay the corresponding difference.
