Gujarat HSC Result 2024: The wait is over for Gujarat’s Class 12 Science students! The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) declared the much-anticipated HSC Science stream results today, May 9, 2024, at 9:00 AM. Students who appeared for the exams can now access their scores and download their mark sheets from the official website [gseb.org].

This year, a total of 4,77,392 students appeared for the HSC exams, contributing to a total of 1,212,290 students across all Gujarat Board exams (including SSC). While the official pass percentage announcement is expected tomorrow, last year saw girls outperform boys with an impressive 80.39% pass rate compared to 67.03%.

Passing the Gujarat HSC Science Exam
To successfully pass the Gujarat HSC Science exam, students need to secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject, encompassing both theory and practical components. This minimum benchmark applies to both individual subjects and the overall score.

In simple terms:
• Minimum marks per subject (theory and practical): 33% (each)
• Minimum overall marks: 33%

Gujarat HSC Science Results 2023 (For Reference)
The Gujarat Board announced the results for the Class 12 Science stream on May 2nd, 2023. The exams were conducted between March 14th and March 28th, with a total of 109,000 students appearing. Here’s a glimpse into the 2023 breakdown:

• Approximately 40,000 students opted for the PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Math) combination.
• Around 59,000 students chose the PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) combination.
• The pass percentage for girls reached 64.66%, slightly surpassing the 66.32% achieved by boys.
• The overall pass percentage for the science stream in 2023 stood at 65.58%, reflecting a decrease of 6.64% compared to 2022’s 72.02%.

• Morbi: 83.22%
• Rajkot: 82.49%
• Surat: 71.15%
