It was reported that the area was left with a minimum guard, but operations are not at 100%, so there is a cut in the production of one of the largest conventional gas fields in the province of Neuquén.

The community demands assistance with the supply of bottled gas, in an area of 40 homes in that area. It is the companies that regularly assist the community.

The workers did not ask to change their shift yesterday after 10 a.m. and remained inside the site until 3:20 a.m. this Wednesday, when they were able to leave the facilities.

The problem is that a minimum guard was brought in to carry out operations, but the bulk of the workers were not able to get in. There are no shift changes, and the gas area is operating at a minimum.

Record gas production

Gas production in the province of Neuquén broke a new record in May, and reached 105.59 million cubic meters per day (MMm³/d). It is 14.33% more than in April and 19.84% in interannual terms. The accumulated in these first five months of the year was 11.05%, higher than that registered for the same period of the previous year.

The gas market segment has five months of intensive production with high demand due to the cold months, although this year it was brought forward due to the storm throughout the country. The operation of Loma La Lata, although it is not the field with the highest production, is key to the global contribution.
