Netflix’s May bets are among the most varied and, among them, we can find ‘Eric’, a British miniseries of only six episodes that will be released on the platform on May 30. In the heart of New York in the 80s, the series addresses the harrowing search for the little, which will take Vincent through the streets of the city as he deals with his own guilt and growing desperation. This situation pushes him to cling to little Edgar’s drawings, which inspire him to create the puppet of a blue monster, named Eric, in order to take her to television to recover her son. With certain touches of fantasy, her connection to her own creation will become the center of the plot.

From the creators of the hit miniseries ‘Chernobyl’, this Netflix fiction features Gaby Hoffmann in the role of Cassie, Vincent’s wife; McKinley Belcher III, who plays Inspector Ledroit and the young Ivan Morris Howe in the role of little Edgar, are part of the main cast of the series, alongside Cumberbatch.
