The actor John Krasinskiwidely recognized for his role in the iconic series The Office and acclaimed for his work as director on the trilogy A silent place and the movie imaginary friends (in English I.F.), recently shared information about his personal life. In an intimate conversation, the interpreter of Jim Harper Not only did she talk about her latest film project, but she also joked about the sitcom characters she would choose to take care of her daughters in real life.
To be a nanny for her daughters Violet (7 years old), and Hazel (10), the first thing Krasinski did was completely discard Michael Scottthe iconic character played by Steve Carell. “Oh my god, definitely not Steve.”Krasinski joked, emphasizing the disparity between Carell’s fictional character and his real-life personality.
Instead, John opted for Angelathe office worker played by actress Angela Kinsey, expressing confidence in her ability to ensure the safety of her children, although perhaps in an unconventional way. “That child will be safe. He may be in a box, but he will be safe all the time.”he added between laughs.
This year, Krasinski has been dedicated to promoting his latest film, imaginary friends. The actor has hinted that his involvement in this film project goes beyond his directing role, as it is one he considers deeply personal because it involves his daughters.
Reflecting on his daughters’ initial reactions to his filmmaking endeavors, the actor acknowledged that they have preconceptions influenced by their mother, Emily Blunt, who has played iconic characters in magical settings in past films. Likewise, Krasinski describes the process of involving them in the creative journey, from sharing sketches to incorporating her imaginary friends into the film.
“When they found out I was going to do it, it was really exciting because It was the first time I involved them in something”Krasinski said of his descendants. “I was pretty sure they thought I was an accountant before this because his mom was Mary Poppins and was in Jungle Cruise”.
“He had a very skewed start with our girls”, John continued to say about his wife. “And in this case, I proposed the idea to them. I told them when I went out to write in the mornings and afternoons, and then I set about outlining all the Imaginary Friends while I was writing.”
