Faces position themselves as leaders in climate information

In recent days, the weather forecast has captured the attention of millions, since a front system series has impacted various parts of the countrywhich is why channels such as TVN, Mega, Chilevisión and Canal 13 have extended their spaces dedicated to meteorology.

Faced with this situation, television channels have dedicated much of its programming to cover the consequences of the storms that currently affect a good part of the national territory.

With this scenario, Cadem presented today a new edition of studio 5ca weekly investigation focused on the consumption, marketing and advertisingwhich on this occasion dedicated itself to analyzing the media used for the dissemination of climate information.

The survey revealed that the 24% of participants prefer to tune into Mega for the weather report; followed by Channel 13 with 15%, National Television (TVN) in third place with 9%and Chilevisión in fourth with 8%.

However, the good news for the Bethia chain does not end there, since Jaime Leyton has been chosen as the meteorologist favorite by those surveyed with 24%. Iván Torres (TVN) came in second place with 23%, followed by Michelle Adam (Channel 13) with 20%.

On the other hand, the representative of state television achieved first place in one of the surveys as the specialist with the most positive image (80%)while Adam and Leyton were just behind with 78% and 73%, respectively.. Eduardo Sáez (Chilevisión) was far away with 53%.

Another aspect highlighted by the study of Cadem about weather reports is how people choose to learn about the weather. According to data, 63% choose to check the weather through their cell phoneswhile 37% prefer to get their information through television news.
