There are many editions and reissues of The Lord of the rings under collections that, normally, cost us an arm and a leg. But from time to time we can find interesting offers to add to our collection, as is the case with the four books of The Lord of the rings for the 60th Anniversary (2014), which we now have on Amazon for 86.84 euros.

This collection is not usually so “cheap”, since its recommended price on Amazon reaches 116.50 euros, although it is common to find it close to 100 euros. But if we are looking for an edition to add to our collection, we now have it with a discount of 30 eurosso it finally remains at 86.84 euros.

This 60th Anniversary edition includes four books and one protection case (and collection) to avoid its deterioration. The ‘Lord of the Rings’ books are in hardcover and come with covers where we find original artwork by JRR Tolkien, something that is not as common as we would like. The edition is in English and with a somewhat complicated vocabulary, so many of us can keep an eye on it to add to the collection rather than to read them.

As we have mentioned, the edition comes with four books corresponding to the reissues of Christopher Tolkien, with the original maps, fold-out pages and a completely revised and expanded index. Additionally, the fourth book, ‘The Lord of the Rings: A Reader’s Companion’, is a commented and updated guide to improve understanding and delve deeper into Tolkien’s text.
