As soon as I finished writing my book Immigration: reality, phenomenon or problem? And upon returning from my speech at the Literature Conference in Seville on the same topic, I received a request for a meeting from the Book Sphere. They wanted me to write a book about something I have been working on for many years: the process of right-wing Europe and its causes. I didn’t think much about it, I accepted and threw myself into the task, committing to having it finished in December so that Why do workers vote to the right? be ready at the next Madrid book fair.
If it had not been a topic that I have worked on intensely in recent times and that has all my attention and concern, I would not have accepted it. Between the doctorate that I am currently pursuing, my activism and the fact that I had just finished writing my latest book, I was quite short of time and strength to be able to undertake new projects, but the opportunity was worth it and I decided to postpone other projects so I could focus body and soul in the studioresearch, effort and work on this work within the agreed deadlines.

I am fully aware that the topics discussed in this book are controversial and that, although I believe that the study will have a good impact and get the recognition it deserves, it will also create an adverse reaction, of hatred, criminalization and political cancellation. But that is precisely what this work is about: this is nothing more than another of the reasons why there is an increasing rejection of the impositions of the new left and the dictatorship of political correctness, pushing people to support formations or increasingly radical movements and in most cases with a populist and right-wing tendency.
I learned a long time ago that In the society we live in, it is necessary to draw strengths from weaknesses, even know how to take advantage of the culture of hate and cancellation and ensure that they do not paralyze you and use them for your own benefit.. When I received pressure, threats, smear and hate campaigns and even attempted attacks on my presentations of the book on immigration, the only thing they achieved was that my book became number one in sales on Amazon in the categories of essays, theory politics and political structures and processes.

In the present work I have treated and developed in an extensive and meticulous manner each and every one of the factors that I consider that create an increasing rejection among workers and that attract them towards positions that do respond to their needs, an issue that the left He stopped doing it decades ago. From the class question, the ideology of the new left and the cultural battle, passing through all the specific aspects that affect the workers and ending with the reality of the radical right and how they have managed to make an effective counter to the left and reach broad masses being able to put them between a rock and a hard place in multiple countries, even internationally.
The work that follows these lines is carried out from intellectual honesty, at a time when it is scarce, especially with respect to certain topics, and when only easy applause is sought, even if it goes against any sense of integrity and of the search for knowledge. The intention of this essay is none other than to shed a little light on an issue that is already of great relevance, which will undoubtedly only grow and in the coming years and decades will undoubtedly go from strength to strength. My intention is to contribute my grain of sand to raising critical awareness and resolving the great challenges facing our society.
