The TuLlave card is an element that allows those who are in Bogotá to access the zonal, trunk and cable component of the Transmilenio system. There are several types of card, but the most basic, which can be easily purchased at stations, does not have the user’s personal data and, therefore, is not applicable for transfers, travel on credit or blocking balance due to loss or heist.

However, one aspect that many are unaware of is that even this can be recharged through the internet and, specifically, through the Nequi virtual wallet. Here we show you how to do it.

How to recharge the Tullave card with Nequi?

To start the process of recharging the Tullave card online, you must download the “Mass” application, which is available in both the App Store and Google Play. Once you have it on your mobile device, follow the following steps:

  1. Go through the registration process, you can use your Gmail or Facebook account. After this, accept the terms and conditions.
  2. Enter the “MaasPay” section and complete the information requested.
  3. To link the TuLlave card, you must take into account the serial number found on your card.
  4. Start the recharge process through PSE. For this to be done through your Nequi application, simply choose the option with this name. You must continue with the procedure by logging into your account and authorizing the transfer with the selected amount.
  5. After you have completed this process, you must wait at least 30 minutes for the payment to be processed. Go to a Transmilenio station and, on one of the electronic devices, activate the recharge and check your balance.

Some information that may be useful to you is that the “Mass” application allows you not only to recharge your card, but also has functions such as viewing estimated bus arrival times, viewing routes, among others.

How to recharge the Tullave card online?

– Go to the website: www.tullaveplus.gov.co and click on the “Get to know TuLlave” option, then go to “Web Recharges”.

Complete the form and validate the requested information.

– Activate the recharge at the balance inquiry terminals, which are located within the System’s trunk stations.

How much is the Tullave card worth in 2024 and where to buy it?

In 2024, the Tullave card costs 8,000 pesos for those who wish to buy it for the first time. There are currently 13,102,804 cards in circulation, of which 6,760,344 are personalized.
