Normally, all the news that we usually see about vehicles has to do with the progress of electric vehicles and the advance of hydrogen ones. Slowly, these two options have been emerging as the most viable compared to the traditional combustion model. However, vehicles powered by fossil fuels refuse to leave the market, and that is because They certainly offer very notable efficiency. In fact, there are still many companies betting on the combustion engine, and one of them is Avadi, which has launched an engine that can be very useful for very different fields.

An engine with fewer parts: more simplicity, greater efficiency

The Avadi MA-250 is an engine that promises to revolutionize this type of combustion mechanisms. According to Avadi itself, the company has managed to make a 4-stroke rotary gas engine that uses only half as many components as usual to use a traditional engine. This way, the system is much more efficient both at a thermal level – doubling that of traditional engines – and at a simplicity level.

The good news is that this vehicle can do absolutely everything. It is a very interesting option for automobile sector, especially focusing on mopeds and motorcycles. But the question does not stop there, since it could be the future engine that integrates many aerial reconnaissance drones, agricultural equipment or small planes. In this way, the applications are multiple and its efficiency is notable. As for cars, it can be useful for electric vehicles when it comes to helping them generate energy.

It is a very scalable system, so its applications are very varied, but what is clear is that its design is the key to everything. It features a single rotating piston with two self-balancing and counter-rotating connecting rods. In addition, it eliminates the crankshaft along the way, a part that generally contributes significantly to engine wear due to the friction it produces on the engine. This extends the useful life of the combustion mechanism and allows it to be prolonged over time. Although, it is true that today’s engines are already quite reliable. and they have quite remarkable durability.

In general, the key is in the parts reductionwhich makes it weigh half that of a conventional engine, about ten kilos.

The combustion engine is not dead nor is it giving its last swan song. Everything indicates that it could undergo a significant revitalization seeing that the electric car market has fallen noticeably in its demand. Something that could already be seen in the case of Volkswagen, which would be allocating a third of its investments to the combustion engine.

While the electric car has not yet taken off, the hydrogen engine has not yet arrived and everything indicates that it has a long development time left until it can represent the revolution that all users are waiting for for their utility vehicles. In this way, the sector finds itself in a rather complex moment in which renewing is the only optionbut there are several really important ways to do this.
