Health and Medicine work on strategies to continue strengthening the Residence system

The Minister of Public Health of the Province, Ricardo Cardozo, met today with the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of the National University of the Northeast (UNNE), Germán Pagno, and with the Graduate Secretary of that faculty, Mónica Aucher, with in order to coordinate new strategies to continue optimizing the Health Residence system.
“We have met with the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Mónica Aucher to coordinate new strategies that have been proposed in this area, which will aim to improve the adhesion of new professionals in our Health Residency system,” he said. Minister Ricardo Cardozo.
These strategies will be worked on by the Ministry, with the General Directorate of Human Capital, headed by Teresita Domínguez, and with the Undersecretary of Health Coordination and Planning, headed by Alfredo Revidatti.
“In this sense, several strategies were presented that will be analyzed to be implemented next year because this year registration has already been carried out,” he added in this regard.
System strengthening
On the other hand, the minister remarked: “This year, like previous years, we have had a very good number of registered in our Residences, exceeding with more than 900 registered, which tells us about how solid and vigorous our System and the work are. jointly with the Faculty of Medicine and the hospitals of the Province.”
And, he added: “This contrasts a bit with what happens in the national average, since many provinces, the majority, raise the lack of coverage of residency quotas by applicants, which puts Corrientes in a privileged place ”.
