The three doctors from the city of Villa Regina who are involved in an investigation for a scam that would be around 12 million pesos have already been notified of the hearing to formulate charges that will be held next week at the headquarters of the Judiciary in Villa Regina. The complaint was presented by the current leadership of the Medical College of that city who understood that there were maneuvers to divert funds and affect the interests of the members of that institution.
In the last hours it clearned the information through the notification that the parties received and that summons them to the hearing chaired by the Guarantees Judge, Gastón Pierroni, and which will take place on May 9 starting at 9.
At the center of the investigation There are three doctors and an administrative employee who had been in the administration of that institution between 2020 and 2021.when the diversion of funds would have occurred, according to the investigation carried out by prosecutor Vanesa Cascallares, which could have reached 12 million pesos.
The complaint was prompted by the current management of the Medical College where an attempt is made to determine if there was indeed a fraudulent administration taking into account that those affiliated with the institution would have received less money than they It was actually billed to the PAMI social work.
Through the file MPF-VR-02615-2021, Cascallares points to three doctors who during those years were in charge of the institution and an administrative employee. “They diverted funds in order to improperly benefit themselves and third parties, violating their duties,” indicates the preliminary investigation.
And he emphasizes that they did it «hiding, omitting the registration and/or control of accounting documentation (invoices, checks and statements or balance sheets, among others) of operations carried out on the funds of the Medical College. And “using computer systems created for the billing of benefits, practices or medical services, through apocryphal accounts or users with the objective of issuing parallel billing of benefits corresponding to the PAMI social work«.
The hearing for the formulation of charges will be held at the Criminal Judicial Office, located at 664 General Paz Street, Regina.
