Four criminals detonated a dynamite outside the alternative medicine center ‘Ozono Cuba-Perú’, located in the El Recreo urbanization, in the city of Trujillo, La Libertad. It is presumed that it would be a case of extortion.

According to police information, the attack occurred around 8:25 pm on Thursday and left material damage.

In the images captured by the location’s security cameras, a couple can be seen passing by with the day’s purchases at the time of the explosion. Even at the other end, a man in an orange vest gets up from his chair after the loud sound to walk away from the place.

ATTACK IN TRUJILLO: THERE WERE NO INJURIES

Fortunately, no injuries or deaths were reported since the establishment was closed and without personnel on the premises. However, there was damage to the metal door, as several glasses burst as a result of the blast wave. “The irons were left after the explosion,” said a witness.

It should be noted that the premises are located in front of the National Police Officers’ Village and two blocks from a police station.

The personnel of the Criminal Investigation Division (Divincri) of Trujillo became aware of this criminal act and arrived immediately to carry out the procedures. In the same way, the personnel of Citizen Security and the Explosives Deactivation Unit (Udex) presented themselves.

This attack occurs in the midst of the declaration of a state of emergency in the province of Trujillo due to citizen insecurity.
