This cycle of the Community of Madrid proposes thirteen evenings with classical, lyrical, dance and flamenco that are celebrated between August 1 and 31

One more year, the San Lorenzo Festival fills August with music. Thirteen shows make up the programming of this cycle, organized by the Madrid’s community and celebrated on the stages of Auditorium Theater of San Lorenzo de El Escorial and the Theater of La Antigua Mina del Puerto de la Cruz Verde de Zarzalejo.

That same weekend, the pianist María Luisa Cantos will address a recital with music by Schumann, Ravel and Spanish authors. and the tenor Piotr Beczala will perform opera arias alongside the Orchestra of the Community of Madriddirected on this occasion by Oliver Diaz.

The Atlántida Chamber Orchestradirected by Manuel Tevar, proposes a concert for August 10 that covers ‘The soundtrack of Madrid: Zarzuela!’. The next day, the pianist Rosa Torres Pardo It will remember the great Alicia de Larrocha with works by Esplá, Mompou, Mendelssohn and Franck.
