This Saturday, June 22, the medical staff of the Iberoamerican Clinic in Barranquilla released the Shakira’s father, William Mebarak, after spending 17 days hospitalized in the care center due to health complications.

Local media point out that Mebarak was admitted to that clinic after reporting severe pneumonia on June 5.
At that time, the doctors in charge left the patient in an intensive care unit, but after days of improvement they moved him to a room where he continued his process.
This Saturday, The Barranquillera’s father returned home after receiving the positive report from his doctors, according to Caracol Radio.
The singer has been seen in various parts of Barranquilla.
