A motorcycle pump exploded in the town of El Plateado, a rural area of the municipality of Argelia in the south of Cauca. The action left no victims but there was damage to several homes and two vehicles.
The secretary of the municipal government, Pablo Daza, confirmed that the action occurred in the town center: “we received calls from leaders of the district informing us in the midst of despair what had happened. We have reports of affected homes and vehicles. Fortunately we did not report any victims.”
The official sent a message to President Gustavo Petro to whom he asked for investment for the Micay Canyon in order to stop all this violent escalation.
