The 17 departments of Entre Ríos are under “yellow” alert for strong storms for this Friday. The rains would extend into part of the weekend.

The National Meteorological Service (SMN) launched an alert for strong storms for this Friday that covers the entire province of Entre Ríos. The rainfall would last until Saturday and even Sunday depending on the area. Temperatures would remain stable and decrease towards Sunday

The “yellow” alert covers the entire province since the morning of this Friday and extends during the afternoon in Gualeguay, Victoria, Colón, Gualeguaychú, Ibicuy Islands, Tala and Uruguay.

«The area will be affected by storms, some locally strong. They may be accompanied by intense gusts, significant electrical activity, occasional hail and abundant falls of water in short periods. Accumulated precipitation values ​​are estimated between 30 and 50 mm, which may be exceeded from time to time,” indicates the SMN report.

Temperatures on Friday are expected, meanwhile, between 18° and 24°.

Meanwhile, this Thursday showers and isolated storms are announced throughout Entre Ríos.

After the alert:

On Saturday there would be isolated storms and rain throughout the day in general in the province, although the southern departments such as Gualeguay and Victoria would have cloudy skies starting in the afternoon.

Temperatures would be located with little thermal amplitude between 18° and 21°.

On Sunday, finally, the sky would remain cloudy and temperatures would drop to around 10° minimum and 21° maximum. (oneer)
