Coming changes

The extension of Alejandro Estrada, who is accused of being close to former mayor Juan Carlos Cárdenas, as manager of the company, despite the resistance of the local president, or the creation of a new parallel company to execute contracts in other cities, are some of the disagreements between Mayor Beltrán and the previous board of directors that had been maintained with almost all of its members since the Rodolfo Hernández government.

Precisely, these two points will be part of the agenda of the new board of directors.

“The manager will remain in office until his term ends. And only among the new board do they review the relevance of each of the issues,” explained the mayor, Jaime Beltrán.

In 2023, the budget of the Bucaramanga Metropolitan Aqueduct exceeded $226,815 million.
